When WE tv launched its flagship programming for women of color: ‘Braxton Family Values’ (BFV), we were there for the ride.
With targeted messaging to influencers and media through consumer engagement (national viewing parties, college tours), press dinners and premieres, we helped WE tv – previously known for its bridal shows – welcome in a new era of entertainment for a more diverse audience.
By strategically building BFV’s audience, we were successfully averaging 1M viewers per episode by season 2.
The success of BFV spawned the creation of subsequent shows targeting this audience, including “L.A. Hair,” “Mary Mary,” “Tamar & Vince,” “Sanya’s Glam & Gold” and “SWV Reunited.”
